History

Founded by Carlotta Scarpa, an art curator and manager with over two decades of experience, CS Art Management is driven by her expertise and passion. She brings her extensive knowledge and skills to provide comprehensive organizational support in curating, consulting, managing, and coordinating. Her leadership ensures the production of art exhibitions that are both innovative and culturally significant. Since 2009, in collaboration with PDG Arte Communications, CS Art Management has organized over 100 exhibitions at the Venice Biennale, working with various countries such as Andorra, Azerbaijan, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Mauritius, Mongolia, Morocco, Estonia, Latvia, Ecuador, and the collateral participations of Hong Kong, Macau, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Alongside art curator Paolo De Grandis, Carlotta Scarpa has curated OPEN International Exhibition of Sculptures and Installations (since 2008), a twenty-year initiative that highlighted the importance of outdoor art in the contemporary scene. Since 2017, she has also spearheaded From La Biennale di Venezia OPEN to Rome. International Perspectives, a long-term project dedicated to presenting select international installations from the Venice Biennale at the Museums in Rome, in collaboration with Roma Capitale – Sovrintendenza Capitolina ai Beni Culturali.
